This is a blog written by a culturally confused but enthused writer whose interests span the breadth of mainstream, underground and alternative culture.
I have a masters in Art Curatorship, but more importantly, I've spent most of my life traveling, living in different places, and trying to get to the heart of what motivates us as people. Inevitably, I am usually drawn to the visual and sonic, as for me, they espouse the human condition better than the written word or any political ideal ever can.
I'm heavily into East Asian culture, live in Europe, am from Australia and simply can not ignore what is going on in the Americas, so you can be reasonably sure that I am going to do my best to round up what I'm interested in without fear of cultural barriers.
Feel free to drop me a line at any time if you have any thoughts or find something that might be of interest.
Incidentally, the banner photo (and inset), was taken in the Marais, in Paris, in February 2010. Paper Tigers is also the name of the manuscript I am occasionally working furiously away at here in Rome when I commit to it. I'm bad with commitment. It scares me. So, in the meantime, at least I can share my thoughts with you, instantaneously. How useful.
